Wholesale Vintage Clothing FAQs

All U.S. buyers must provide a valid state seller's permit (also called a resale certificate or sales tax permit), which allows you to purchase inventory for resale without paying California sales tax, along with a copy of your driver's license or government-issued ID.

If your business is based in Alaska, Delaware, Montana, New Hampshire, or Oregon, your state does not issue a seller's permit since these states don't collect state sales tax. In that case, please provide a copy of your business license instead. We do not require your EIN or any other confidential tax information.

International buyers should provide whatever business registration documents are available in their country — for example, a SIRET number in France, a company registration number in the UK, or a VAT/GST number elsewhere — along with your company name, address, and a copy of your passport.

Yes. Ora Industries offers remote wholesale appointments by video call for buyers who cannot visit our Gardena warehouse.

Before booking, we're happy to give you a free virtual tour of the warehouse, walking through our sections, racks, and categories so you know what to expect.

Once you're ready to book, our team guides you rack by rack through the inventory, helping you select vintage clothing for your store, brand, or project — appointments typically last 2–5 hours and are fully dedicated to you, with no other customers in the warehouse during your call.

A remote appointment requires a minimum purchase of $1,500 and a $700 deposit to book, which is applied toward your final purchase. If an emergency comes up and you can't make your scheduled time, please give us at least 72 hours' notice so we can rebook your slot — we understand things happen and will always do our best to accommodate you.

Ora Industries supplies premium American vintage clothing for boutiques, resellers, fashion brands, and designers. Our selection includes vintage T-shirts, band tees, sweatshirts, denim jackets, Levi’s jeans, workwear, military clothing, and sportswear.

Brands may include Levi’s, Nike, Harley-Davidson, Champion, Carhartt, Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, Patagonia, and The North Face. Availability varies as inventory changes.

Yes. During your in-person appointment, you can browse our carefully organized racks and inspect individual garments before choosing your wholesale selection.

Our clean warehouse in Gardena, Los Angeles County, makes it easy to compare styles, fabrics, construction, and condition. Our team is available to answer questions and help you find pieces suited to your customers or creative project.

Vintage garments vary in condition. Examine each piece for wear, fading, repairs, and other details when making your selection.

Yes. Ora Industries offers leather cleaning when needed and on request. If your wholesale selection includes leather garments, discuss your cleaning requirements with our team before your order is prepared.

We will confirm the available service, any additional cost, and the preparation time for your selected pieces.

Yes. Ora Industries ships nationwide via FedEx Ground or UPS Ground, selecting whichever carrier offers the better rate for your order, or shipping via your preferred carrier on request.

Orders typically ship the same day or the next business day once your order is complete and ready for pickup. Transit time varies by location — generally 1 day for nearby areas and up to 5 days for the East Coast.

All domestic shipments are door-to-door with a tracking number and are typically insured for full value. Orders are carefully folded, packed, and price-labeled before they leave our warehouse. Once your order ships, we send photos of the packed box, shipping label, and drop-off receipt, along with your tracking number, via WhatsApp or text.

Yes. Ora Industries arranges international shipping to many destinations worldwide. We currently do not arrange shipments to Africa, South America, Russia, Ukraine, or mainland China. Hong Kong is eligible. Please check with us about availability in other parts of Asia before ordering.

For smaller shipments, we primarily use DHL Express, with quotes based on weight, volume, and destination. Delivery typically takes 2–5 business days after dispatch, subject to customs clearance and carrier conditions.

For larger orders, we can arrange air freight or sea freight. Customers may also organize their own shipping and have their carrier collect from our Gardena warehouse. Please confirm destination eligibility and collection arrangements with us before booking.

Ora Industries accepts bank wire transfers, transfers through Wise, all major credit cards, Zelle, and Apple Pay.

The customer is responsible for applicable customs duties, import taxes, and clearance charges.

Ora Industries prepares the commercial invoice and supporting shipping paperwork, including the appropriate customs classification for the goods shipped.

Charges vary by destination and are determined by the relevant customs authorities. Shipping quotes do not include duties or import taxes unless expressly stated.

All sales are final. Because every order is either handpicked by you in person, selected by you during a live video appointment, or curated according to grade and budget you agree on in advance, there are no returns, exchanges, or refunds once a purchase is complete.

We encourage buyers to inspect items carefully during selection and ask questions about condition before finalizing your order.
